Mindless Monday... on a Tuesday!

Good Tuesday morning!

RANDOMNESS #1 - The following is a list of everything I told you I was going to put in the post today. As it turns out, it isn't going to happen:

1. Pictures from Matthew's 6th Birthday Celebration.

2. The "word" I've chosen to live by during the year 2014. (I decided to share the "word" first in my Sunday School Newsletter article which will be out the first of February. A couple of weeks after the Newsletter is released, I'll share it on A Simple Life.)

3. Pictures from Friday's basketball game. (A WIN!)

Look for the pictures of the party and the game Friday morning.

RANDOMNESS #2 - The following is a list of some things I was originally going to blog about Friday:

1. Two more activities to add to the Bass Pro Shop Dirty Santa Party. (I'll post all of the party details again Friday.)

2. Auburn Championship Game pictures.

3. Pinterest Stuff.

RANDOMNESS #3 - Today, I am going to share my favorite pics from the year 2013. Several other people have been doing this, and I thought it would be fun to copy.

January...

This picture isn't of Roxie. It is a photo of one of the basketball chickhttps://www.blogger.com/homes from last year's team (Miss Rachel).

And this picture isn't about the "thrill of victory."

It is most definitely about the "agony of defeat."

I love teenage basketball chicks.

February...

I always like mountain pictures, but a GROUP mountain picture that is sort of, kind of, almost color coordinated (without being planned)...

Well, that's worth a mention!

March...

I know everyone thinks their kids are amazing in the "looks" department.

But I have proof!

April...

Sometimes you cannot pick just one!

May...

Roxie and Grandmother.

MotherWalk for Ovarian Cancer has become an important part of our Mother's Day Weekend. (We look forward to participating in our third one in May.)

And because it is the MOST important thing about the entire Walk, Grandmother always worries that the t-shirt will be "ugly" until I pick it up the night before and check it out.

So far, so good.

June...

Roxie was the guinea pig for our first ever 4th of July Slip 'n Slide. I set it up a few days before the 4th. After a few trial runs, she deemed it a fun activity to try with the cousins.

Painful, but fun.

July...

Our week-long stay at a lakehouse in Guntersville turned out to be one of the best vacation destinations ever.

Everyone relaxed, and having family and friends visit off and on throughout the week was a big plus.

The sunset boat rides were my favorite lake activity.

August...

This isn't one of MY favorite pictures, but I'm sure Josh would disagree.

He moved into his own apartment in August, and while I was incredibly proud of him, it was definitely a bittersweet moment in this Mama's life.

September...

Uh-oh. I couldn't choose just one... again.

This is Mr. Nabers and Monica.

If you've read the blog five minutes, you already know Monica. (She is my cousin Amy's daughter, and she is just a few days younger than Roxie. They are fast friends!)

Mr. Nabers was one of my Daddy's oldest friends, and whenever I see him it makes me happy.

I took this pictures of Mr. Nabers and Monica at Grandparents' Day at Southside Baptist. (Monica is one of Mr. Nabers' granddaughters.)

And it is one of my favorite pics from the year 2013.

Who doesn't love baby toes?

And these baby toes are special because they belong to my great-niece, Mackenzie. We were privileged to attend her dedication in Oxford.

October...

It is not a "perfect" picture by any means, but I love it.

Mikie was so proud to escort his little girl onto the football field as a Homecoming Representative. He's a good Daddy...

And Roxie's a good Daddy's Girl.

November...

I love any kind of "first." Always have.

Austin and Melia's engagement was a first in our little family of five.

December...

I know you saw this pic just a few posts ago, but it was definitely one of my favorites for the month of December.

When a photo-op just appears out of nowhere (the sidewalk in front of Children's Hospital downtown), you just have to take advantage of it!

I hope you're not too angry with me for all of the things I didn't post today.

If nothing else, Friday's post should be extremely LONG!

Take care, and I'll talk to you the end of the week.

Sincerely,

The Enchanting Belinda
