Good Monday afternoon!
I pushed a button on my computer at 1:55 p.m. I said I would post by 2:00 p.m. and I was five minutes ahead of schedule.
Until I pushed the "delete post" button INSTEAD of the "publish post" button.
I'll just go ahead and tell you... It was an absolutely great post.
Funny beach stories... meaningful life lessons... some of the MOST beautiful photographs I've ever taken.
I am heartbroken... and just a little busy.
So, I am going to post a few pics today (along with the Contest rules) and try to remember what I originally wrote for today... for tomorrow's post!
I hope you don't mind. (Please say you don't mind!)
CONTEST! CONTEST! CONTEST! - This is my 981st post for A Simple Life. The countdown begins!
The Contest will be simple. The rules are as follows:

1. Another Broken Egg
2. Original Pancake House

4. Lucia's Italian Restaurant in Helena
It will be Winner's Choice!
If you win and you live somewhere other than Alabama, you will win a $15 VISA Gift Card!
"May the odds be ever in your favor!"
(I'm going to be saying that for the next 19 POSTS!)
RANDOMNESS - The following are pictures I took last week during our beach trip that didn't (shouldn't/couldn't/wouldn't) make the blog.
Today, I am desperate.
On our first evening at the beach, I didn't mind this picture being "steamy." I KNEW I would have hundreds of clear beach shots in the days that followed.
WRONG!
When all else fails, I take pictures of signs from restaurants. These are not necessarily restaurants we have eaten before. I'm usually just happily clicking.
I didn't use this picture last week because I didn't think it was a great picture of Tommy... or the statue. Tommy is VERY photogenic. (One of the reasons I love him!) This picture was my fault.
And I have no problem using it this week.
You can never have enough pedicured "beach" toe pictures.
And fuzzy photobombers? Well, they are my favorite!
Of course, pirate flags always make interesting photos.
As well as rooms from the condo. This was our dining area...
Living room area...
And condo mascot!
You can also use sea oat pictures...
And palm tree pictures from past vacations.
And never forget seafood on a giant fish plate pictures. Those are always great.
Have a great Monday. I'll be back tomorrow with all the good stuff I deleted from today's post AND a Recipe.
Take care, and I'll talk to you in the morning.
Sincerely,
The Enchanting Belinda
Contest! Sea oats are my favorite - they never fail to offer a fabulous picture.
